VOLUNTEER CALL OUT

As our club continues to grow, we’re looking for enthusiastic members to join our team in key volunteer roles. Each position comes with plenty of support — so whether you can take on the full role or just a part of it, we’d love to hear from you!

Here are some of the current roles and duties you can contribute to;

  • Sponsorship Officer

    This role is perfect for someone who enjoys building relationships and representing the club. The Sponsorship Officer liaises with our valued sponsors, seeks new sponsorship opportunities, and helps manage sponsor commitments at club events and through promotions. You’ll be well supported and can take on as much or as little of the role as suits you.

  • Events Coordinator

    If you love bringing people together, this is the role for you!

    The Events Coordinator helps plan and coordinate our club’s social events — including the upcoming 30th Anniversary celebrations and Awards celebration in 2026, and other member activities throughout the season. The role involves attending club activities, engaging with members, and promoting inclusion and participation. There’s plenty of support, so you can take on the full role or just help with specific events or tasks.

YOUTH LEADERSHIP CAMPS - RISE UP AND TOAD

Over the holidays, several of our youth members took part in Surf Life Saving WA’s Youth Leadership Camps, gaining skills, confidence and friendships that will last well beyond the sand.

Lexie, Ruby, Lexi and Reeve attended Rise Up, a camp focused on building leadership foundations, teamwork, communication and self-belief. Across the week, they were challenged to step outside their comfort zones, support one another and discover their individual leadership styles – all while having plenty of fun along the way.

West and Chase headed to TOAD, a high-energy camp designed for emerging youth leaders ready to take the next step. Through practical activities, group challenges and real-world leadership scenarios, they developed confidence, resilience and a stronger understanding of what it means to lead within Surf Life Saving.

We’re incredibly proud of all six for representing our club so well and embracing every opportunity these camps offered. We can’t wait to see them put their new skills into action on the beach and beyond!
