Meet the Mandurah Surf Life Saving Club Committee
Russell Price
President
Russell is a dedicated club member with an extensive background in Surf Life Saving and Leadership.
You can find Russell on the beach patrolling, filling his position as Club President, prioritising the safety and well-being of our club and community members. Russell is always open to new ideas and fresh perspectives and values the contribution of all club members in seeing the Manudrah SLSC reach new and exciting heights!
Warwick Webb
Club Captain
Warwick's remarkable skills and experience in Surf Life Saving make him an invaluable asset to our club. Warwick has a proven track record in dedication to the club over many years of service, and his leadership will undoubtedly inspire our members to achieve their best both on and off the water.
You can find Warwick on Patrol at the club and sharing his wealth of knowledge with our future club leaders.
Amanda Betteridge
Director of Finance
Amanda and her Family actively participate in all the club has to offer!
On Sunday Nipper mornings you will find them getting stuck into the fun with her and husband Chris leading the charge as Age Group Managers and Amanda also keeping her keen eye on the club Financial position as well as assisting families with their club Administration queries. Amanda works closely with our Upper Management club members and is a key part of the club's success.
Victoria Higgins
Director of Administration
Victoria and the Higgins Family have been active Mandurah SLSC members for many years, as the kids have worked their way through the Woodside Nippers ranks. Their gracious duties have included; active Patrol duties, Woodside Nippers Age Group Management, Surf Sports assistance and Committee member contributions!
Victoria is the very helpful hand behind the MHSLSC scenes, using her administrative skills to welcome our new and returning members, assist with membership enquiries and keep our club information up to date.
Adam Hoes
Director of Lifesaving
Adam has been a SLSWA member since his days as a budding young Woodside Nipper!
Over his many years in the industry Adam has gained a wealth of knowledge on all things Surf Life Saving and prides himself on maintaining the standards set by SLSA. Adam is always finding new ways to improve our clubs Life Saving capacity and skills and welcomes any members who would like to know more about how they can contribute to their community's beach safety, to come down to the club and have a chat!
Stacey Bower
Director of Youth
Stacey is a passionate and committed youth advocate, volunteering her time to help build leaders within our club. Our club's active youth group are a fun, generous, supportive and responsible bunch of peachy keen members!
Stacey is always looking for ways to extend their reach within our community and is an outstanding and nurturing role model and guide to our young club members.
Sarah Young
Director of Education
Director of Education, Sarah Young.
Sarah brings with her a wealth of SLS and First Aid knowledge and years of experience, all the way from the east coast!
Sarah's role at the club involves Up-skilling, Training and Requalifying our members and community... And she's the absolute right woman for the job! Over many years Sarah has built up her skills in Life Saving Capabilities gaining experience in the field, on the sand, and in the water!
You can find Sarah on Patrol at the club and at one of the many training sessions run by her and the Education Team.
Sunita Gaby
Director of Surf Sports
You can find Sunita and her Family on the beach and in the water during Sunday Nippers, at weekly Surf Sports Sessions and trading their skills at local Surf Sports Comps!
Sunita is an active club member in her duties as Surf Sports Director, Sponsorship Coordinator and during her beach patrols on the Life Saving Patrols Team. With an absolute passion for Club promotion and Surf Sports, Sunita strives to build our club's community and 'good sport' spirit, always finding ways to lift the teams and making sure our club's fitness and sports aimed initiatives are inclusive, skills building and FUN!
Claire Byrne
Starfish Nippers Coordinator
Claire is a dedicated and inspiring leader at our club who fills active service time during patrols, surf sports and at Starfish Nippers sessions with great enthusiasm. Claire has many years of experience in SLS,Swimming and Surf Sports, providing important skills, knowledge and experience to our club members! When you spot Claire at the club, ask how you can contribute toward Water Safety with the awesome Nippers at Starfish sessions.
Jessica Nye
Marketing Coordinator
Jess and her family are into their 4th season at the club, cruising the clubs beaches, taking in training opportunities and filling roles in the clubs Committee, Water Safety, Nippers, BBQ Mastery and Patrols.
Jess' role at the club involves keeping our clubs digital spaces tidy and current, informing members of upcoming events and club going's-on through social media, the club website and email comms. Together with the Marketing Team, Jess is working on Membership Engagement and Sponsorship opportunities, and welcomes all club members to reach out and get involved in what ever capacity they are able.

Luke Heywood
Merchandise Officer
Luke is a passionate local and devoted club member. The Heywood Family have filled roles in Water Safety, Nippers and on the Marketing Team as merchandise champs.
Luke and his family have been working hard to provide and develop an impressive club merchandise brand and online store. The club's merch haul really is something and we are incredibly proud to don the magic "MH" gear in and out of the surf!

Lisa-Marie Murphy
Events Coordinator
Lisa is our club events planner and Sausage Sizzle extraordinaire!
With her years of experience in local clubs and leadership in both sporting and school committees, Lisa brings a stack of experience and knowledge to the Events Coordination role.
As well as flipping snags , managing events and coordination of event volunteers, Lisa can been seen filling a First Aid Officer role during patrols. Lisa loves engaging with members to build a strong and inclusive social community at the club.

Chris Knoetze
Surf Sports Head Coach
Chris and his family are shinning stars of all things Surf Sports, achieving some incredible heights in Comps and Carnivals over their many years in the industry.
Above all else, these fellows are absolute champions in sharing their knowledge and love of surf sports, and in supporting our team of eager runners, boardies and swimmers of all ages and abilities.
Chris is passionate about building good sports, who love what they do.
Niamh and Bella
Youth Leaders
These two are an energetic and vibrant force to be reckoned with! Bella and Niamh are the voices that speak on behalf of our shining youth members and the Mandurah Surf Life Saving Club's Trident Youth Group (14-18)
The commitment our club's youth have to creating an inclusive, resource-packed and safe place for all of our members, beyond outstanding.
