Mandurah Surf Life Saving Club is proud of its history and status in the Peel region. Our members have provided many volunteer hours over many years, and we strongly promote the ethos of volunteerism and community spirit.

Our Club is a part of a greater movement; Surf Life Saving Australia, boasting 190,000 members across 314 affiliated clubs, is the world's largest volunteer movement of its kind. This not-for-profit cause has rescued over 715,000 lives since its inception in 1907

 

With deep roots in the Peel region, our club has a rich history marked by countless volunteer hours. Our members have consistently exemplified the essence of volunteerism and community engagement. This commitment has earned us a significant status and a strong reputation within the community.

Merchandise Officer

Join the Merch Team and help keep our members looking the part!


The Merchandise Officer will assist with managing club gear and merchandise, supporting the merch store and helping ensure members have access to the wearables they need throughout the season.


This is a great opportunity for someone who is organised, enjoys working with people and has an interest in helping showcase our club.

Administration Officer

Join the Admin Team and help keep our club running smoothly behind the scenes!


The Administration Officer will assist with member registrations, maintain accurate member records and support the administration team throughout the season.

Director of Education

Help develop confident, capable lifesavers and build the future of our club.


Mandurah SLSC is seeking a passionate and organised volunteer to join our leadership team as Director of Education.


The Director of Education plays a key role in supporting the delivery of quality education and training opportunities across the club, ensuring members have access to the skills, qualifications and development pathways required to participate safely and effectively in surf lifesaving.


Working with our trainers, assessors, education team and club leadership, this role will coordinate education programs, support member progression through Surf Life Saving awards, oversee proficiency requirements and encourage a culture of continual learning and development.


This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting the growth of our members, strengthening our lifesaving capability and helping ensure MHSLSC continues to provide a high standard of service to our community.

Starfish Nipper Coordinator

Vacancy expiring soon. Without a coordinator the program cannot run this season. 


Champion inclusion in Surf Life Saving!


Mandurah SLSC is seeking a passionate volunteer to coordinate our Starfish Nippers program this summer, with the guidance of Director of Nippers, Julianne Moseley.


Starfish Nippers is a program designed to support members with diverse needs and abilities, ages U6 - U18, to experience the fun, connection and confidence that comes from being part of Surf Life Saving.


About the Role:


🌟Join a supportive club community.

🌟Training and onboarding provided.

🌟Sunday mornings, excluding school and public holidays.

🌟Roughly from November - March (dates TBC).

Events Coordinator

If you love bringing people together, this is the role for you!


The Events Coordinator helps plan and coordinate our club’s social events — including the end of season Awards celebration, and other member activities throughout the season.


The role involves attending club activities, engaging with members, building on and coordinating the Events Support Team and promoting inclusion and participation. There’s plenty of support, you can take on the full role or just help with specific events or tasks.
