TRIDENT YOUTH GROUP

MEET OUR YOUTH CAPTAINS — ZARA, RUBY & LEXIE!
We’re excited to introduce the powerhouse trio leading our Mandurah SLSC Tridents Youth Group (U14 - U18) this season — Zara, Ruby, and Lexie!
These three bring energy, leadership, and passion to everything they do. As Youth Captains, they are the voice for our youth members, working to create a space that’s inclusive, supportive, and full of opportunity — both on and off the beach. Not only have they been active in building a fun and safe environment for all members, they’re also constantly developing themselves — undertaking training in lifesaving, first aid, leadership, and wellbeing through the Club and SLSWA.
You’ll see our youth in action across the Club — on patrol, helping out with Nippers, leading at Surf Sports, supporting club events, and guiding younger members. With the support of our Director of Youth, these Captains help drive camps, training, and other exciting pathways for our teens.
We are super proud of the talent and dedication of our youth — they’re not just the future of Surf Life Saving, they’re leading it right now!
Want to get involved or learn more about Youth Pathways?
Courses are starting soon! Register and find out more here: https://www.mandurahslsc.asn.au/youth
If you have an opportunity to share with our Youth Group, please let Director of Youth, Stacey, know: youthcoordinator@mandurahslsc.asn.au
STARFISH NIPPERS
Starfish Nippers is a lifesaving skills program designed for children and young adults with a disability 6 years and older.
This important program relies on Volunteers. We endeavor to accept as many members as we can, however, to keep all Nippers safe in and out of the water, spaces for the program are limited.
Our Starfish Coordinators are always on the lookout for assistance in and out of the water during sessions. If you would like to help in any way next season please sign up for one of our Training Courses and get in touch!
Expressions of Interest for Starfish Nippers will be open soon.
