Nippers Swim Evaluations

WOODSIDE NIPPERS SWIM EVALUATIONS

All Nippers who are signing up for the season will need to complete a short swim evaluation, even if they have participated previously.

This ensures the safety of all participants during sessions and gives our Age Group Manager volunteers a chance to determine swim skill levels for their group.

PREREQUISITES

- Swimmers are asked to please pay and Register for their 24-24 club memberships prior to attending (we recommend registering in a desktop or laptop)

- MARC Entry Fee for swimmers only

20TH OCT 10.30AM - 11.30AM (arrive anytime)

Mandurah Aquatic and Recreation Center (MARC)

WHAT TO BRING

- Towel

- Goggles

- Drink Bottle

New Nippers must complete this before taking part in any water based training Nipper Preliminary Swim Evaluations: 20th October between 10.30am and 11.30am (MARC) are a risk management procedure to appraise the swimming capabilities of participants and must be done as part of our club’s duty of care. Preliminary evaluations must be successfully completed before your child can participate in ANY water based activities.

Competition Swim Evaluation: Nippers that want to compete for Mandurah must also complete their Competition Swim Evaluation. This is required before registering for any competition, including Branch and State carnivals. We will do these in the ocean during water based surf sports training.

All members must have paid their membership by 31 October to be able to train or compete

Surf Club Sundays are just around the corner and online registrations are open and encouraged for all members!

Each Season all child members U6 - U15 MUST have a Parent/Carer register as an adult club member too.

NEW MEMBERS: Must create a SLSA Account and Pay to Register.

RETURNING MEMBERS: Must renew their SLSA Account and Pay to Register.
